The events of the last 18 months have been challenging for all, none the least Sports clubs and organisations. At a time where it has been proven more important than ever for people to remain physically active; both for physical and mental wellbeing, it is vital that Stevenage is doing what it can to support these clubs and in planning for the future.
Over the coming years, a number of opportunities will be presented within the town, and it is hoped that our sporting partners can continue to thrive and benefit from these as time progresses. A vital part of this is to determine the needs and opportunities which exist to ensure they are taken into account when planning for the best possible future for Sport and Leisure. It is for this reason we would like to invite you to attend our Club Summit on Monday 4th October 7.15pm for 7.30pm start via zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84613891013?pwd=YUc1ZUlhelNuR2tSWU9kWG5PVVRqdz09
The summit will outline the current position of Stevenage, the position of the recent consultation some clubs may have engaged with regarding the future of Sport and Leisure within the town(including the renewal of the leisure contract) and offer an opportunity for clubs to outline what is great about the town for sport and what challenges to you as a club currently face. The full agenda can be found attached above. The summit will conclude at approximately 9pm.
Please RSVP in due course. We very much hope you are able to join us and look forward to seeing you on Monday 4th
